At RevUp, we’re building the digital finance infrastructure that businesses need to thrive, starting with revenue reconciliation. We’re the first end-to-end reconciliation platform designed specifically for Filipino businesses—so they can focus on growth, not paperwork.

In my role as the Chief Product Officer at FDEV, I led initiatives across three core mandates: Venture Building, Startup Investments, and Digital Transformation.

Within the venture building sphere, I played a hands-on role in the successful launch of five ventures, spanning B2B SaaS, SME Lending, Cloud Kitchen, and Digital Banking. My involvement included building product, design, and technical teams, crafting roadmaps, and leading customer interviews for new ventures.

For FDEV's startup investment efforts, my responsibilities included validating product-market fit, assessing roadmaps, and evaluating product, design, and engineering teams.

Within FDEV's digital transformation efforts, I led a team of ~20 Product, Designers, and Engineers. Our team works hand in hand with various business units across the Filinvest Group on internal innovation projects.

As one of the pioneers of TrueMoney Philippines, I served as the Head of Product for the Agent Network business. In under three years, the Agent Network product achieved significant growth, expanding to 20,000 partner stores, serving over 4 million unique customers, with 1+ million transactions monthly, and processing 2 billion pesos in monthly total volume.

My expertise spans the entire Agent Network business, covering operationalization, technical integration, and service performance for domestic remittance, international remittance, billspay, and top-up. I also oversaw backoffice operations, including pre-funding, settlement, device logistics, and customer support, as well as on-ground sales operations and growth strategy.

I bridge the gap between Business and Tech, providing solutions to strategic problems. During new feature rollouts, I ensure organizational readiness for launching and supporting services, products, or processes.

My focus is on simplifying complexity for end users, especially in challenging Internet environments. We strive to create user-friendly, robust products for seamless operation across the country, emphasizing accessibility and ease of use.

During my tenure at GCash, I had the opportunity to contribute significantly in two distinct roles, serving as both a Project Manager initially then transitioning to a Product Manager.

In my capacity as a Product Manager, I played a crucial role in translating complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. This involved a meticulous process of understanding the unique needs of the business and transforming them into user-friendly and efficient design solutions.

As a Project Manager, I served as the primary point of contact for BPI Globe BanKO, overseeing all technical and operational initiatives and addressing any operational issues that arose between GCash and Globe. This multifaceted role required a high level of coordination and effective communication to ensure the seamless integration of services.

One of the notable products I managed was the end-to-end implementation of Globe Charge, an innovative app-based credit card terminal and mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) system. In its inaugural year, Globe Charge achieved remarkable success, capturing 95% of the mPOS market in the Philippines and receiving several prestigious industry awards. This achievement not only showcased the effectiveness of the solution but also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the team and the positive impact on the market.

In my role as a Network Operations Engineer, I took charge of managing and maintaining predictive dialer and Customer Relationship Management systems. This involved the creation, maintenance, and regular updating of daily dialer reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information.

Additionally, I provided valuable desktop support services and established effective communication channels, liaising efficiently with counterparts in the United States on various products and projects.

Batcher Application Project
- Leading the Batcher Application Project, I offered strategic guidance for creating a customized inventory and batch verification application. Coordinating training, deployments, and site visits, I traveled weekly to manufacturing plants. Providing personalized one-on-one training, I developed comprehensive documentation and videos. I also offered on-call support for application and hardware issues. My collaboration extended to effective liaising with BU Engineer, Batchers, QC Managers, and application developers for seamless project execution.

In my role as a Systems Analyst at Pfizer Inc., I ensured the stability of Pfizer’s expansive WAN with 3,000+ servers. Monitoring VMS, UNIX, NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Novell systems, and Network, I facilitated prompt issue resolution. Managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), I provided effective phone escalation for critical issues and oversaw client data storage via the SLS tape backup system. Contributing to incident remediation, I logged activities in ServiceCenter, including installing new equipment, moving server racks, cable management, and decommissioning retired servers.
