About Luci Laffitte
Human at Life Sabbatical
Currently on a sabbatical, recharging and reflecting on the beautiful west coast!
Previously: Senior design manager at Autodesk Construction (formerly PlanGrid). Leading three product teams to reimagine how to track progress and issues on construction sites. Aside from leading teams, I'm also hacking away at messy experience architecture projects and partnering with the research team to document and share user workflows across the entire construction lifecycle.
I'm passionate about storytelling, facilitating, problem framing, user research, and information architecture.
Before PlanGrid/Autodesk, I worked at AKQA (global design agency) for 5 years and on a few projects with small startups.

“Breaking down what a hiring manager would ask me on my case study. It was great listening to her commentary about my case study and the questions she was asking me. Learned so much.”
“Luci was very helpful in giving honest feedback on my portfolio and presentation style. She had prepared a comprehensive list of inputs for me and links to read later for various questions I had. Really enjoyed my conversation with her in terms of expectations from designers in the industry currently. She is a great mentor!”
“Luci was really great and helpful. We had an amazing conversation where she reviewed my portfolio and mentioned on the direction have to improve on. The feedbacks were so thoughtful and precise about steps that I have been missing in my projects. I am really grateful this conversation happened.”
