As an Engineering Manager at Auvik, I lead and manage a talented team of engineers, collaborating with the Colombian team from Boardgent that was acquired by Auvik. I play a vital role in driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge networking and infrastructure management solutions. My responsibilities include:

Leading the migration and integration process: I actively participate in the seamless transition from Boardgent to Auvik, ensuring alignment between the two companies. I work closely with the Colombian team to ensure a smooth integration and facilitate effective knowledge transfer.

Driving culture engagement: I focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and team synergy. By organizing team-building activities and initiatives, I cultivate a strong team spirit and a positive work culture.

Process improvements: I continuously identify opportunities to optimize development processes, leveraging agile methodologies and best practices. I drive process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and code quality within the engineering team.

Software Construction:

I conducted analysis, architecture, design, and implementation activities to develop robust software solutions that adhered to the internal quality standards of the company.

Ensuring the quality of software solutions was a priority, and I performed rigorous checks to verify their functionality and adherence to requirements.

I played a vital role in validating and conducting functional checks on deliverables, ensuring they met the desired specifications.

Functional Leadership:

I actively participated in gathering and understanding requirements, working closely with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the functional needs of the applications.

Through refinement activities and work plan discussions, I contributed to streamlining processes and improving the efficiency of functional applications for customers.

Coordination of Working Group Activities:

I took on the responsibility of prioritizing and allocating tasks among the team members, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

Regular monitoring of activities and progress updates allowed for effective tracking and timely completion of tasks.

I also conducted reviews of software builds to assess their quality and identify areas for improvement.

My proficiency in Java encompassed JEE5 architecture, JPA (Java Persistence API), Eclipse IDE, SQL Server database, JUnit testing, design patterns, and TDD (Test-Driven Development) practices.

In summary, as a Software Engineer, I successfully worked under TSP and Scrum methodologies, focusing on software construction, functional leadership, and coordination of working group activities. By leveraging tools such as JIRA, UML, and Java, I ensured the delivery of high-quality software solutions that met customer requirements and internal quality standards.

As an Implementation Leader at Stefanini LATAM, I had the opportunity to work on the FFE Africa project, specifically in Tanzania, Ghana, and Senegal. My role involved managing development resources, coordinating project schedules using Project management tools, and estimating timeframes and activities. I actively engaged in client meetings to understand their requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Some key responsibilities and achievements during this period include:

Leading Implementation: I took charge of the implementation process across multiple countries in Africa, ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Team Management: I supervised a team of developers, providing technical support, guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment for successful project outcomes.
Project Planning: I meticulously planned project activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to timelines.
On-Site Support: I traveled to Africa for two months to conduct requirement gathering and design activities, followed by an additional month for project closure. During this time, I provided technical assistance and ensured seamless project implementation.
Customer Training: I conducted on-site training sessions tailored to the specific needs of the regional project, ensuring the client's successful adoption of the solution.
Technology Stack: I worked with Oracle SOA architecture, including BPEL and service virtualization. Additionally, I utilized JEE5, JSF, Oracle databases, and WebLogic server technology.
My experience at Stefanini LATAM allowed me to demonstrate my leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to manage complex implementation projects across multiple countries.
