About Mahak Jain

Associate Team Lead at Appinventiv

I started out designing spaces. Now I design screens. Turns out it's the same job: figuring out how people move, where they get stuck, and what makes them feel at home.

Along the way I've worked with iconic brands like Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, Atlantis, Dubai Ice Rink, Dubai Aquarium and PVR, across interiors, branding, visual design and digital products. Today I'm an Design Lead at Appinventiv, where I lead and strategise digital products and guide the team that builds them.

I can help you with: • Growing fast, and in the right direction, in your design career • Moving from execution to strategy to leadership • Thinking like a strategist, not just a designer • Portfolio clarity, communication and stakeholder handling • Using AI in your design workflow without losing your judgment • Staying relevant as AI changes what designers are expected to do • Building taste, the one skill AI can't fake for you

I also write That Design Story, where I break down design and AI in plain words: https://mahakjn.substack.com

If you're shaping your design career and want some direction, book a session. Bring your questions, messy ones welcome.
