Served as product, research and design advisor for Nikola, a peer-to-peer electric car sharing platform for the environment conscious rider. Advised team on establishing MVP goals, foundational research, product strategy and design.

Goals / Impact:
✅ Mentor people / companies in need in the start up space.
- Company paused their work as level 5 automation for self-driving cars hasn't been achieved yet. They will (potentially) begin operations once there is a reasonable timeline for automation.

Role: Co-led the design for the Salesforce IoT product by working closely with research and product to solve the IoT problem in the Sales and Marketing industry.

Impact:
✅ Led to the team’s successful merger into Salesforce’s Field Service organization (Salesforce Service Cloud).

Other notable contributions:
- Fostered and evangelized design crit culture in Salesforce by creating a V1 of the Design crit methodology.
- Developer, logging and monitoring console designed for IoT Cloud
- Self start, progress and lead ideas that haven't been asked for.
- Understand how complex orgs work, strategize and passionately pave a path forward that speaks to the user and is needed for the product.

Role: Led the mobile & tablet design for iOS and Android creating the complete look and feel of the white-label banking offering by Intuit. Created and maintained the design system for the organization utilizing Intuit’s principle of Design For Delight (D4D).

Impact:
✅ Design and launch the white-label banking software was used by 400+ banks in the USA.
✅ Own and execute on multiple parts of the design ecosystem within an org.
✅ Maintain complex design systems and evolve them by keeping an eye on the horizon.

Role: Part of a five person Mobile UX team responsible for researching and creating Oracle Voice, an NLP-based multimodal conversational agent on mobile for Sales & Field Service reps.

Impact:
✅ Launched the zero-to-one experience of Oracle Voice for Oracle Field Service with a high CSAT.
✅ Design and own complete end-to-end, usable experiences backed by research.
✅ Gained a deep sense of understanding in working with multimodal technologies.
✅ Learn about ML and AI technologies that are key to making progress in the field.

Design Consultant — Part of a 3 person User Experience team responsible in turning the Linux based command line interface to web based interface that was orders of magnitude easier to use, learn and work with for non technical users.

The firm's operations mainly include effective storage, management and retrieval of large datasets pertaining to Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail and Government organizations.

Role: Part of a four person UX team responsible for designing multimodal haptic graphical interfaces and inventor of multiple patents in the field.

Impact:
Design patents contribute to Immersion’s revenue even today.

Key projects:
- Complete custom haptic interaction design for Samsung Touch phone released in US and Europe.
- Complete custom haptic interaction design for the NEC Manta Tablet released in Japan.
- Haptic feedback design support for a few physical devices in gaming and automobile verticals.

Goals fulfilled:
✅ Learn about haptics and how industrial design and interaction design can work together over different form factors.
✅ Be thoughtful and yet prolific about creating new things (potentially invent something and understand the process).

Role: Contributed (UX and code) to the three person team that modeled fatty tissue for a haptic surgical simulation laparoscopy device that was used by doctors in training.

Role: Designed and coded web templates (frontend and backend) that support multiple business verticals. This first experience helped me get my hands dirty with programming and design, that paved my path to explore industrial and interaction design.

Goals fulfilled:
✅ Practice web development and design in a professional setting.
✅ Understand if this is something that resonates with me.
