I have 30 years of experience working as a consultant and educator in design leadership management, design thinking, strategic design, and innovation. I have deeply studied design as a practice and its value for business, people and planet, with my latest title being a PhD in design thinking. The job I've enjoyed the most was setting up and managing an academic partnership with Stanford University's Design Group for 10 years, through which together with global industry clients, academics and students, we tackled complex problems and developed innovative solutions to an MVP level, in multiple sectors.
I have led and taught undergrad and grad programs in visual communication, industrial design, design strategy and innovation. I've also trained as a coach and I've become a mentor for many former students. In my recent work at Frog (part of Capgemini Invent), I spent over 2 years leading service and experience design teams for projects with the government's digital transformation, and in the finance and utilities sectors.
I love mentoring people in design leadership, design management, design thinking, strategic design, and innovation. I can for example help you understand the field, methods, principles, make decisions, and many more things.
