Bankify is a fintech start-up that makes personal finance human-friendly. We have an array of digital products that can be integrated to services and solutions provided by banks and other financial institutions to make them more useful, efficient and delightful.

As a User Experience Designer, it is my job to find out the problems faced by our clients and use design thinking methods to propose solutions tailored to the customers' needs. I lead multiple products and also manage different client projects.

On a typical day at work, you will find me talking to users, solving problems, creating concepts, creating and designing solutions, brainstorming new ideas, telling stories about the users and coordinating with the designers, developers, marketeers, founders or our clients.

I conduct qualitative user research to get insights into user behaviors, needs and pain points. I analyze and share the results of my research using various methods depending on the case. Storytelling is at the core of my research sharing. I prototype in Sketch and Figma and my design decisions are driven by user research.

Women of Aalto is a student organization at Aalto University established to empower women and strive for equality.

As the head of Partnerships and Career events, my main role was to build and maintain partnerships with small and big partner companies. A major focus for me was finding partners and sponsors for our Pink Ribbon Gala.

I also organized career and self development events like excursions to partner companies that focus on career development, workshops and employment opportunities for the attendees.

An initial stage start up incubation & competition. Our start up idea was SeeFarm: An autonomous rover for automatic disease detection in crops (using machine learning) & a web app for end users & customers.
I conducted UX research and idea validation interviews, designed the prototype (and the interface) for the web app, was an active contributor to the business model development and cash flows. I pitched the start-up to a jury of professionals, academics and investors and I was also an active contributor in the physical rover prototyping and decision stages of disease detection algorithms.
The project was among the top 5 projects and got selected to the HIT Incubation program.
