About Marian Kamenistak
Founder, Engineering Leaders Community at Engineering Leaders Community
I'm Marian Kamenistak, founder of the Engineering Leaders Community: 3,100+ engineering and product leaders across Central Europe. Before that I was VP of Engineering at Mews, where I scaled the org from 8 to 80 teams through Series C. I led engineering at Manta before IBM acquired it, and spent 3+ years in the Bay Area as Principal Software Architect at Databricks.
I've run 3,400+ mentoring sessions with 300+ leaders in 17+ countries, rated 9.17/10 on average. In 2023 I walked away from a $350k role and took on $75k of debt to go all-in on ELC. If you're moving into management, navigating a reorg, or prepping for the next promotion, I've probably seen your exact problem before.
