About Mariana Fernandes
UX Researcher at Bradesco Bank
I started my career in visual arts and design, working in museums, cultural centers, and also as a researcher. Over that period, I learned many research methodologies and even won Brazilian awards and grants during my 20-year trajectory. After more than 15 years in that field, I decided to transition to UX Design in 2019. That was a turning point in my story, and shortly afterward I moved to Spain, having to transition once again — this time to work in my area in another country.
During these years of transitioning both career and country, I went through many ups and downs, was mentored by incredible people, took several courses, and learned a lot from it all. I believe I can help others who are in a similar situation. If you’d like to talk to me, just reach out!
