Worked across multiple platforms, including internal tools for teams such as QA & operations and public products such as the newly launched app & web store.
 
Conducted user research & usability testing studies to highlight key problem areas in the customer experience. I have evangelised these practices resulting in the company adopting regular user research and using UX metrics as key performance indicators.

Increased everyday tasks' success rate by 33% in a single design iteration and another 24% in the following iteration. Resulting in an overall increase of 57% in-app usability in only 4 months (research to implementation).

Designed & Implemented small changes to the web store through a research-orientated design process. My biggest project resulted in a 155% conversion lift (0.67% -> 1.71%) on the web-store through various analysis and research, including:
- Working with performance marketing to translate analytics data to research focuses.
- Redesigned the information architecture across the store to improve information visibility and scent.

Improved and updated internal mobile tools used to create 3D head models based on user and business needs, I saw these features all the way through the process from design to implementation whilst the team was still small. Key additions/modifications included: 
- Adding offline storage utilities allowing the tools to be used in outdoor settings with no/poor connectivity.
- Building sales interfaces to help employees sell products to customers at events.
- Adding multi-user support for sales attribution.

3 Day Startup's mission is to activate entrepreneurial potential in students of all kinds through experiential education and a global entrepreneurship ecosystem. During the 3 days, I facilitated a simplified design sprint inspired by the events structure and the Google Ventures design sprint book. Our team was focused on understanding how and when students who are struggling with their mental health seek support.

In the 3 days, we designed and developed a business model for an online service that is a safe, first response for students who need support but aren't ready to seek it. With our rapid user research, we were able to identify that 51% of students in further education didn't seek help when they needed it, we further identified common reasons why students are hesitant to seek help and design solutions to these problems & pain points. These included; informative articles about personal issues that are designed to help answer common problems and relieve anxiety, a chat interface for 24/hr support, and anonymity features by default which could be disabled by the students when needed.

Our process and pitch were well received and we were awarded Overall Winner, and Best Pitch from the event.

Worked with a pre-seed startup creating new products for woman's reproductive health. I helped the founders empathise with their users & understand existing pain points & frustrations with finding, obtaining and taking contraceptive pills during their problem exploration period.
