Working with Midnight I have been responsible for fine tuning some of the processes within the agency and also launching some of their larger sites over the period in which I have worked with them.

I have worked in small silos within the agency to help deliver the projects and worked in a hybrid agile way to deliver on time for these projects.

I was able to help Midnight win their first award which was a Lovie award for Lavenham Jackets an ecom fashion brand site built on headless Shopify.

At Projects By If I was brought in as the technical lead to deliver on a very specific project they had been given. I worked with them to help deliver a project within the Open Source Software Security sector. We worked with Google to help define what the project was. Projects by If were responsible for delivering the UX and the language used to generally communicate this quite complex topic.

My role was to choose the tech platforms that would be used to deliver the following:

- Consumer(software engineers) facing site with comms about Open Source Security.
- Developer Documentation to help the engineers to understand how they integrate it within their software ecosystem.

Naturally with the above I chose Vue js as the frontend to build it in and we then needed a markdown CMS to handle the content because the team would be editing the content for the sites and the docs in github so I chose Netlify CMS for the markdown editor and used Nuxt js Content for the documentation tool.

These solutions worked really well for the Google team and the OSS Foundation who still use it now.

The project was an app that was a dashboard for companies to see their office usage, there were sensors fitted inside buildings to monitor desk usage, air quality and space. The app connected to these sensors via a third-party app and we connected that to the Laravel API to create dashboards that showed live data to the users. They could move through floors on the app to view the amount of people on each floor and the space they were using.

I was a Full stack engineer working across Laravel backend API and Vue/Nuxt front end. Working on various modules and features for MVP of product launch. I was responsible for helping the Head of Engineering implement features for the app that was being shown to new clients.

I am one of the Co-founders of Yoke Space and I’m the Tech Lead. I am responsible for technical decisions across the platform and delivering those features.

My main focus within Yoke is balancing technical decisions along with business decisions on what the user needs are on the platform.

My role from the start was to decide on the technology stack for the back-end architecture and what we would use as the front-end to stitch these together and naturally Vue js and Laravel were great. I loved the ecosystem Laravel brought within it for deployment, DB management, monitoring, queue services and other great tools. Vue js has always been sonmething I leaned towards and felt totally natural to me.

I worked in a team of engineers to help build a top class Ecom offering for the Bleach haircare brand as well as other tools within the business to transform them into a digital haircare brand.

I worked across the whole business domain from ecom, product and live streaming with the Lead developer using Vue js, Contentful and AWS as the main tech stack. The team as a collective pulled together some incredible work especially as we were in the midst of the Covid pandemic too.

Web site UI and design for a variety of projects that were passed through. I project managed and helped to work on technical issues commonly involved in web development and server side back-end development.

Leading projects for various start ups, creative agencies and SMEs over the years I have been able to work across a broad spectrum of disciplines within a project. I have been the lead on projects and also an integral team member of a project based on what was required from the brief. I have launched major rebuilds of large enterprise projects and helped maintain large enterprise projects within teams.
