I'm a Software Engineer that currently works as a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services.

I have a Master's Degree in Information Systems from the Technical University of Munich and have been developing software since the late 90s. Nowadays I mostly work on designing and developing cloud-native applications at scale.

I'm a tech generalist with a sound understanding of most areas in today's IT landscapes and expert knowledge in distributed data-intensive applications, event-driven architectures and serverless computing. I'm proficient in Python, node.js, Rust and have hands-on experience with popular technologies such as Flutter, Vue, Docker, Kafka and Spark.

I managed organisations of up to 50 people at a director level, but overall prefer individual contributor roles
