About Martin Murray

Design Head at Intropic

AI has opened incredible opportunities, but it has also made it harder than ever to stand out in recruitment. For over 20 years I have been helping people believe in themselves, build confidence, and let their personality shine through.

You are a unique product, full of skills and quirks that someone out there needs. Success is not always about your best piece of work, it is about how you tell your story and let people see the person behind it.

We all hit glass ceilings. For too long, careers followed rigid, hierarchical paths. Today everything is flatter, and that is fine. Being a senior does not always mean more money or fulfilment. The real question is, is your career on the right track?

Many find themselves at a plateau, or realise their role has become something they no longer enjoy. Others feel ready to shake things up. These moments are a chance to think differently, whether that means finding your next role or starting something of your own.

My own shift came through self-confidence to embrace change, entrepreneurialism and continuous learning, generosity in sharing knowledge, and visibility so opportunities could find me.

And no AI was used here, it is 100% me, giving you my full attention, dedication, and insights to help you navigate a topsy-turvy world.

Sessions with Martin Murray

  • Mentorship Session (60 min): General mentorship
  • Long-term Mentorship (60 min): Having one or two mentoring sessions is helpful, but real growth comes from something more structured. This scheme is built for people who are serious about continuous learning and want ongoing support to stay focused, accountable, and moving forward. If you are navigating the complexities of an oversubscribed industry, structured mentorship can be the difference between drifting and making real progress. Together we will search for opportunities, map your progress, and keep a clear diary of your experiences, all with the aim of finding that next perfect role. Good mentorship is not just about solving today’s challenge; it’s about building the confidence and resilience to take on tomorrow. With over 20 years of experience, I act as someone in your corner — keeping you motivated, helping you cut through the noise, and making sure you never feel lost or disheartened. Just as important is learning how to listen to your inner voice without letting it run the show. Self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and the fear of not being taken seriously are common companions in ambitious careers — not evidence of failure. Mentorship helps you recognise these thoughts for what they are: signals to acknowledge, to ignore.

Navya Yadav, Associate Product Designer at Paytm

“This was my first session with a mentor and I'm currently a little unsure about what I want to get out of my journey. This didn't phase Martin at all and he tapped into some really useful topics that will help my progression as well as define what I want to get from mentoring. I will definitely go to Martin in the future for advice and further sessions”
