Helping build the next generation of edtech using AI in Pakistan, for Pakistan. We are building a platform which focuses on understanding the student learning gaps and then providing the relevant interventions to close those gaps. We are working with low fee private and public schools.

I am leading the engineering team here, with a focus on creating the best digital travel management platform possible in the region. I am working on organising the technical direction of the product and how to best use the technologies to build a scalable and reliable product.

As a Google Developer Expert, my role is to learn about the latest and great in Web Technologies and then share it with the community through mentoring, speaking at meetups and conferences and doing workshops. Since I am a full stack developer, everything from Kubernetes, Angular, Firebase and Chrome are things I am interested in when doing my work.

I was their first full-stack software developer working on both frontend and backend related tasks for the Testmunk device cloud. I also have been involved in ad hoc projects including the modification of the calabash framework and cocoa development. Testmunk got acquired by **Snapchat** in 2016

Focusing on MEAN stack (NodeJS with ES6, Angular2 with Typescript, Express / KoaJS 2 and Mongo) Ionic2, we are building fast, responsive and scalable applications for startups all over the world. I work along with a group of talented colleagues to deliver the best applications possible, with strong feedback loops to get the right product quickly out the door.

Initially started working as a Technical Consultant for startups all over the world, am now a partner is this company with a dedicated team working towards solving challenges and coding amazing products. My work now consists of leading this team as well as working (in-house) directly with some of our bigger clients. Over the years I have worked on several languages / frameworks include Scala Play framework, Node JS, Angular, iOS, Android, PHP and others.

During my 8 week internship here, I setup the platform for this website. The internship not only trained me to meet my client’s requirements, but also to maintain a high level of quality in my work. It taught me organizing of my workloads, making time lines to adjust to my client’s countless modifications and meeting the challenging deadlines.

Responsible for PiMedia’s online presence, developed and maintained their website. Initially the site had a single webpage and no web presence, within four months not only did they have a full news blog but also were also receiving 10, 000 page views per month. Using my creative design skills and advanced SEO techniques, their website has become a publishing medium as equally powerful as their magazine and newspaper.

I started working on some projects with my friend Ali Zahid, and ended being a part of his company. My time with Designplox has been an amazing experience where I have been able to develop using the latest web technologies while working on some very challenging projects.

I worked there as a volunteer worker as the school is a charity organisation. As an administrator, I had to work within an immensely limited budget to assemble and maintain a computer lab for a seat count of five hundred students. The challenge for me was to negotiate for the best hardware and software prices and make for the best of resources available. I also managed all technical related requirements, the website and troubleshooting for the school.

As a teacher, I was working predominantly with poverty-stricken fourteen-year-old students. It was a fascinating experience, which certainly enhanced my leadership skills and taught me to appreciate of what I have in life.
