About Matthew Ma
Senior Product Designer, Design Systems at Walmart
Hi there!
I'm a Sr. Product Designer focused on design systems at Walmart. Breaking into this industry from a non-traditional design degree, I had the guidance and mentorship from ADPList mentors. I'd love to meet new designers breaking into the product design! My background includes graphic design and marketing.
Let's chat about transitioning into product design, interviewing, resume/portfolio review, design systems, and any questions you may have!
Outside of work, I love to boulder, travel around the world, attend music festivals, and watch new movies/TV shows!

“I had an awesome session with Matthew! He not only had great feedback for my portfolio, he was also super helpful just talking overall design systems and how I can improve design systems that I work on. I really appreciate your feedback, Matthew!”
“I had a great session with Matthew. He's very insightful and approachable. One point I mostly appreciate is that he really interacts with mentees, being both approachable and constructive. Besides, he's very resourceful and introduced me to things I much needed. I would recommend him as both a great mentor and an insightful product designer”
