Principal Product Manager at Microsoft
I’m a global product and innovation leader with 21+ years of experience across AI, cloud, and digital platforms. I currently work at Microsoft, focusing on turning AI from demos into durable, measurable outcomes. My recent work centers on Agentic AI—designing intelligent agents that can plan, act, learn from feedback, and work across tools and systems safely at scale. I’m particularly interested in agentic engineering: building production‑grade agents with clear workflows, guardrails, evaluation, and accountability, rather than fragile prototypes or surface‑level copilots. My career spans Nokia, Oracle, and Microsoft, with hands‑on experience across India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, plus deep engagement with teams in the US and China. This global exposure shapes how I think about AI adoption—successful systems must work within real organizational, cultural, and operational constraints. Mentorship is an important part of my work. I’ve interviewed 100+ candidates and mentored 50+ professionals into FAANG and other top technology companies, and I’ve been directly involved in hiring at Microsoft. I help mentees with interview preparation (PM, Technical PM, AI‑focused roles). My style is pragmatic, structured, and outcome‑focused.

“This was an amazing session. I got a lot of insights on how to answer estimation questions better which I'm definitely putting into practice. A concept that seemed ambiguous, Mayank clearly explained in the best possible way. Thanks again!”
