About Maycon Santos

Founder, Lead Designer at Materialize, Unpress

I’m a product designer with 18 years of experience helping companies turn complex problems into scalable digital products.

I started my career in R&D projects for companies like Samsung, Nokia, HP, and LG, where I built a strong foundation in research, systems thinking, UI development, and collaboration with engineering teams. Over time, I moved from projects into product leadership, working across logistics, fintech, media, education, operational systems, and B2B SaaS platforms. Along the way, I’ve led multidisciplinary operations across 7 squads and 60+ professionals, contributed to products impacting more than 60 million people, and designed operational experiences supporting over 250,000 connected vehicles across LATAM.

One of the most transformative chapters in my career was co-founding a B2B marketplace for IT contracting and payments backed by Endeavor and Microsoft. Building a company from the ground up. Through growth, funding, uncertainty, and hard decisions, deeply shaped how I think about product, execution, and business.

Today, I help teams transform complex workflows into scalable products by connecting design, product, engineering, and AI-enabled workflows through hands-on collaboration, rapid prototyping, systems thinking, and continuous validation.
