- Designed the architecture and led the development for Notification Hub - central email, sms and push notifications for all services. This eventually helped other teams to migrate from all other special integrations like SNS, Sendgrid etc. to one single interface, making development seamless while giving a centralised SLA.
- Standardised system design and review process along with iterative SDLC practices for the entire org.
- Designed and developed a Kubernetes(GKE) based deployment & release pipeline for entire org to follow.
- Implemented initial version of infra-as-code using Terraform which was later on standardised by devops team.
- Standardised usage of Java Spring Boot for enterprise grade applications with a defined process.
- Drove org wide development norms with aligned practices from open source contributions, and a unified pipeline for delivering to dev, staging and prod.

This was my first startup, and we operated in stealth mode throughout our journey. I worked during weekends or after work hours mostly, since I already had a full-time job.

Halkhata was envisioned as a digital registry tailored for Bangladeshi SMEs, allowing them to manage their daily accounts seamlessly. The platform enabled users to log daily balances with detailed breakdowns after each transaction, calculate dues using an intuitive embedded calculator, and manage outstanding payments with customers or suppliers. Features like payment reminders and the ability to share bKash or payment links for instant payments were also integral to its design.

Despite having the advantage of starting early and gaining market penetration, a series of missteps delayed the beta launch. By the time we were ready, competitors had already entered the market. Even with a 30k MAU, we faced challenges in identifying a sustainable revenue model, which hindered our ability to secure funding from YC after first interview.

This experience, though challenging, was immensely valuable and shaped my understanding of startups, product launches, and market timing.
