About Mica Diaz de Rivera
Head of Innovations at Make Technology
Mica has done talks in all major islands (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) of the Philippines and in the east and southeast Asian regions talking about user experience, development, and information technology in general.
He has more than a decade of combined experience working in product and agency organizations. As a graduate of a computer science program from the University of the Philippines, he began his career as a backend developer and eventually a user experience practitioner for a startup with a user base of over a million people. The second half of his career was spent with the largest independent agency in the Philippines and an internationally backed local agency.
Recently, he has dabbled into finance, operations, and data analytics by taking an executive MBA at the Asian Institute of Management.
