Worked with Development and Product stakeholders from day one, in building the Shopify Fulfilment Network, with a focus in providing a more streamlined and optimized fulfillment experience and increase the capabilities of Shopify’s merchants to compete in today’s market.

Utilized quantitative and qualitative data to create and implement design ideas, and performed extensive in-depth research to develop and validate effective solutions to enhance user experience.

• Trained and helped onboard designers for initial mobile app design team.

• Assisted in training of UX/design team on mobile-first solutions, providing guidance to assist ongoing growth of team’s mobile approach.

• Developed and maintained a diverse slate of projects, including development of internal tools to enhance workflow and additional features for existing products. Products include Travel Guides, Pulse Hotel management app, the post booking experience on mobile apps and the initial steps towards a fully cohesive design system creating a centralized icon font for all icon assets.

• Created and helped facilitate internal design talks, workshops, and training sessions, recruiting speakers to promote professional development of 100+ designers, and organized and hosted collaborative meetings with external speakers (including Sketch and Framer apps teams).

• Traveled extensively across the globe to speak at events about design and experimentation culture. Wrote a magazine article about user experience design, qualitative and quantitative research and the benefits of an experimentation culture published in Net Magazine.

• Led team in building and testing a solution to address more than expected increase in customer service tickets, developing a method to allow customers to cancel non-refundable bookings within first 24 hours. Successfully reverted customer service trend, resulting in wins for the company, the hotels, and their customers

Developed and administered business strategy and art direction initiatives. Oversaw project information architecture and analytics efforts. Managed and guided growth of a top performing team of multidisciplinary professionals.

• Consistently ensured high-fidelity visuals and high quality deliverables for all our clients in a timely manner.

• Created a test version of a physical clinic, and an onboarding app prototype to enhance testing of clinic flow in real-life scenarios, resulting in concept validation, and facilitating contracting of service to Facebook and Apple to build clinics in their offices.
• Invited to judge design competition at Fullerton State, California.
• Received 2 awards for website design and development.
• Increased sales by utilizing data and analytics to review client websites and develop solutions focused on achieving higher rankings. Delivered presentations to key clients and stakeholders, acquiring buy-in to build 100+ websites.

Oversaw and directed communications and marketing strategies for high-end health & wellness club, with responsibilities including design of websites, landing pages, brochures, print ads, internal presentation materials, and newsletters.
