Hola! My name is Miguel and I'm a Design Strategist, Educator, and Entrepreneur from New York. I'm currently Director of Design at Heady. I specialize in Inclusive Design, Design Strategy & Process, and Design Systems and am passionate about Technology, Gov Tech, and Business.
I've been an educator for five years having taught at General Assembly and currently teaching at CareerFoundry and CUNY. I also run Rita Creative Lab which initially launched as Inclusion Design Lab in 2021. The RCL team is on a mission to make tech and design more diverse and inclusive by supporting diverse career seekers and promoting inclusive practices for technologists and designers.
Before UX & Product Design, I was a Front-end Developer and then a UI Designer. All in all, I've been building digital products for 10 years and have been loving every bit of it!
