I'm Mike. I'm currently Sr UX Manager and Head of Design System at Caterpillar, where I lead the cross-functional product team that owns the Caterpillar Design System, develops guidelines, and oversees UI consistency across applications.

Before that, I co-founded UX Magnet, a publication for UX professionals, and led a digital consultancy focused on insight-to-release services. At Caterpillar, I served as Product Owner and UX Manager for the design system and governance team, guiding vision, strategy, and code development for the design system, and supporting its adoption across product teams. Earlier roles include Lead User Experience Designer at Pearson, where I led design and product exploration for R&D teams and shaped next-generation learning platforms, and roles focused on UX research and design for enterprise products and energy management solutions. I have experience in UX research, design, IA, UI, and front-end collaboration to deliver digital tools at scale.
