About Miloni Sheth
Staff Product & Design Lead at Thumbtack, Northwestern University
I’m a Product and Design Leader with 9+ years of experience, specializing in crafting impactful marketplace experiences. My journey at Upwork and Thumbtack involved building several 0-to-1 features and shaping company-wide visions. With a background as both a Product Manager and Designer, I bring a holistic approach to problem-solving, strategically weighing trade-offs to identify the most optimal paths forward.
Proficient in systems thinking, product roadmapping, strategy, visioning, and navigating ambiguity. I’m passionate about uniting people, business, and technology through human-centered design. I also enjoy writing about product frameworks, strategies, design thinking, and leadership.
Above all, I’m driven by a deep commitment to empowering and elevating other designers and product managers as they navigate their professional and personal growth challenges. Product development can be a complex process, but over the years, I’ve identified best practices that I’m eager to share.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen with vegan recipes. I’m also a coffee enthusiast, always on the quest to strike the perfect balance between not enough and too much coffee. 😊

She reviewed my resume and portfolio in advance, and spent the session time pointing out where I could provide more examples and metrics to strengthen my application.
