About Mitali Kamat

Senior user experience designer at Automation Anywhere

I am a Senior UX designer at Automation Anywhere. We create software bots. I work on running the automation piece of RPA. I work with product managers, engineers and researchers to redesign experiences or to create new products or features. I have been on the interview panel to hire design candidates. I can help with interview prep and career advice. Hopefully, I can help someone succeed.

I have made a career transition from architecture design to UX design . I made this transition during the 2010 recession. I like to tell mentees that 'Good things are going to happen' and you have to work toward it. I had a toddler in my arms during this transition. I can help working moms navigate the challenges that workplaces have. I have some tips and tricks up my sleeve to find the space working moms need.
