About Mitch Shulman

Senior Product Manager at ApartmentIQ

Hi, I'm Mitch!

With over 8 years of experience in Product Management, I specialize in helping non-technical professionals break into the field. My journey began in Product Consulting at a Fortune 200 company, and I transitioned into Product Management through roles in Customer Success and Account Management. I’ve worked in hyper-growth data startups and launched flagship products that have generated millions in revenue.

I’ve also mentored countless individuals as they made the leap into their first PM role, and I've given talks on how Product Management methodologies can apply to everyday life. I can help you navigate the complexities of the PM world and avoid common pitfalls. Here’s what I can support you with:

Transitioning from Sales and Customer Success to Product Management Gaining a clear understanding of the PM role across different industries (B2B vs. B2C, etc.) Building trust with engineers as a non-technical PM Collaborating effectively with UX/UI designers Resume building and interview prep (including how to dissect job postings) Focusing on what truly matters to accelerate your career growth Learning from my biggest mistakes and avoiding them in your own journey

If you're ready to make the transition into Product Management or want to accelerate your growth in the field, I'm here to help you succeed!
