I started my career writing COBOL on mainframes — a very different world from where I am today, leading mobile platform teams and helping shape how Workday features come to life on mobile. My journey has taken me from deep hands-on mobile engineering to leading multiple teams focused on building scalable platforms and improving developer experience.
Over the years, I’ve built and scaled teams from scratch — not just hiring, but fostering the kind of culture where engineers can thrive. I’ve also taken a few entrepreneurial swings, launching tech products that didn’t go as planned, but left me with valuable lessons in resilience and product thinking.
These days, I’m focused on building systems that last, growing teams that lead, and enabling others to move faster with the right tools and structure. I’m here to share what I’ve learned — the wins, the stumbles, and everything in between.
