• Supported students in transforming and upgrading their careers by teaching UX/UI design and UX research in a 12 week in-person bootcamp and acted as a Design Manager and Creative Director by guiding student teams through real client projects with local companies

• Improved productivity for other instructors globally by developing improved project management and other operational processes

• Mentored students and helped them improve the quality of their work and get unstuck quickly by providing feedback and guidance in multiple courses

• Reduced the complexity of workflows and approvals (an automation process) by 46% for users and reduced the learning curve by 92% by redesigning the user experience from the ground up

• Established a new methodology for prototyping and trained key employees in this new process to support adoption in the design department

• Facilitated workshops, created screen flows, designed wireframes, and produced prototypes, worked with usability specialists to conduct usability testing

•  Co-designed scenario wireframes for next-generation ophthalmology devices and produced interactive mobile prototypes to facilitate feedback on the design from medical technicians. 

• Established a new methodology for rapid generation of interactive prototypes for the iPad that retained Cooper’s preferred tools and process while streamlining and increasing flexibility of production. Trained key employees in this new process and developed training materials to support company wide adoption and implementation.  This process was be published in a series of blog posts, and later used in textbooks and course-packs used in both undergraduate and graduate programs throughout the county.

• Transformed the findings of direct user observation / research and synthesized them into design directions that informed the design of wireframes mockups for the city of Las Vegas and Tyco Electronics.

• Designed educational material for Howard Rheingold’s courses at Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and Rheingold U, an online learning community. 

• Designed booklets, animated videos and websites to support Howard’s teaching. 

My work focused on the synergistic relationship of technology and society. I also wrote, curated, designed, and produced a book that shows how communication and computational systems (such as cell phones) have played a role in the development of modern protest tactics similar to that of the Arab Spring.
