Dear Hiring Manager,
I am a product manager with over 10 years of experience in creating innovative and user-centric software and fintech solutions that address the needs and challenges of the Egyptian market.
I am currently a senior product manager at CIT VERICASH, a division of CIT Global that offers a software platform for collaborative mobile financial services. I contribute in the product vision and strategy of CIT VERICASH, which enables an ecosystem of mobile banking, mobile money, mobile wallet, mobile payments and mobile remittance. CIT VERICASH aims to empower financial inclusion in emerging markets by providing digital financial services to all customers.
I was previously a product owner at CEQUENS, a communication platform as a service provider, and the head of product at Kashat, a fintech startup that offered nano loans to the unbanked and underbanked segments in Egypt.
I also oversaw the product vision and strategy of Kashat App, a mobile application that allowed users to borrow small amounts of money for short periods of time, without the need for a bank account or a credit history. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Cairo University and an agile product management certification from Scrum Alliance. I am also a certified scrum product owner and a product coach who supports fintech startups and teams in building successful products. My passion lies in creating products that solve real problems for real people.
I believe that fintech has the potential to transform the lives of millions of people in Egypt and beyond by providing them with access to affordable and convenient financial services. I apply user-centric design principles and agile methodologies to deliver products that meet the needs and expectations of the users and the stakeholders.
I am always on the lookout for new trends and opportunities in the fintech industry, both locally and globally. I regularly share my insights and opinions on LinkedIn, where I have over 5,000 followers. I also participate in various events and conferences as a speaker or a panelist, such as Engineerex Tech Pro Edition, where I discussed how to build successful products in the digital era.
