About People usually call me Emje, which is taken from Mochamad and Jainul, As an Interaction Designer based in Indonesia.

I love crafting meaningful and impactful between art and design.

Currently, I am a full-time Senior Interaction Designer at kata.ai to solve complex design around conversational design, crafting a brand, and building a design system.

I came from an Informatic Engineering background, and It's helped me build fundamentals and connect design between the user, art, and business. I started my career as a Graphic Designer then became Interaction Designer with 6 years of experience in a start-up and software house company.

Design is a journey because what is constant in this world is change.

I interpret myself as a Musafir (aka traveler) who seeks knowledge on a lost road. The design process is similar to hiking into the mountain. You have to know the destination, prepare the logistics (knowledge), and be resilient if there are challenges like a storm. But as a great designer, I enjoy the journey and be patient with the process because after going through the steep hiking trail, I will be aiming for the summit to see a beautiful view of the sun.
