I work as a Senior Product Designer at Douran, where I am working on a product called Dourtal. Dourtal is a digital experience platform (DXP) that helps organizations deliver an exceptional digital experiences to their customers. It consists of several products that work together seamlessly.

Dourtal is a B2B SaaS product that is used by over 400 organizations and companies every day to connect with their customers. This makes the redesign process very challenging, as we have to balance the needs of our existing partners with the goals of our new design.

Some of my main responsibilities include:
• Developing a design system that is consistent and scalable
• Designing new ways to integrate different services together
• Working with product managers, developers and stakeholders to shape the product vision
• Creating simple and intuitive user-journeys for a better onboarding process
• Running weekly usability tests to make sure we are on the right track
• Following and benchmarking the best-practices to achieve the highest standards and quality

My role as Head of Product Design at Tarafdari came with the responsibility of improving and scaling our design operations. I took this opportunity to lead my team with passion and encouragement, helping them unleash their talents and skills. One of the initiatives I launched as a leader was a weekly Knowledge Sharing session, where we discussed various design topics and exchanged ideas for design challenges.

My time as a Product Designer at Tarafdari was an amazing and rewarding opportunity; Tarafdari is a leading sports news agency that delivers comprehensive and timely coverage of all sports events and stories.

I joined Tarafdari when they were ready to take their products and services to the next level, beyond a typical news agency. They had ambitious plans to design and develop new products such as mobile application, live TV, merchandise marketplace, and more.

At Tarafdari, my role involved:
• Establishing a flexible design foundation that can accommodate a wide range of products, while also preserving the familiar essence of the current design language to attract our loyal users.
• Performing extensive research on new and creative ways to improve advertisement implementation (our main revenue source) in the existing website and future products for optimizing user engagement.
• Revising user-stories and user-journeys based on best practices in order to embed personalized-experience in the heart of our designs.
• Mentoring a team of two junior UX designers and helping them grow.
• Redesigning the management back-office for a better and smoother experience, as well as adding essential features for our new products.

Digikala Business is a product I worked on since its inception. It is a platform that helps companies buy goods for their work at wholesale price, and also helps them manage their budgets and optimize their buying habits.

We designed a flexible and powerful dashboard that businesses could tailor to their needs and team structure. This was challenging because our existing design system was for B2C customers, and we had to add B2B features to it.

My role as a Product Designer involved:
• Studying the best practices and competitors in the global market, such as Amazon Business, to learn more about this business model
• Creating tools to generate reports that show the insights of purchasing patterns to business managers
• Working with Design-Ops team to enhance our design system
• Interviewing SME managers to understand their needs and perspectives better

Shetab is an innovative startup that aims to revolutionize the HR and Recruitment industry. I was part of the Shetab team as a Product Designer, working on their ambitious product.

The product had 3 main components:
• Job Offer, a job-board that matches businesses with qualified applicants
• Test Pro, a skill assessment tool that measures applicants' abilities
• CV Pro, a comprehensive resume maker that helps applicants highlight their career path

Our main goal was to streamline the recruitment process for both applicants and businesses, saving them time and money that are often lost on ineffective methods. We did this by integrating Test Pro into the job listings; any business could create a job listing with a set of skill tests, tailored to the level of proficiency required for the job opening, attached to it. Any applicant who applied for this position would take those tests and the result would appear in the business dashboard. This way, the business could make a smarter decision based on the data and hire the best talent.

My main duties as Product Designer were:
• Interviewing HR experts to learn more about different aspects of recruitment
• Performing usability tests to ensure our product met the needs of applicants
• Developing a design system that could be applied to both applicant and business dashboard
• Prioritizing mobile experience for better accessibility and usability
• Designing a smooth and intuitive onboarding process to help users get started quickly

100+ mentees and more than 10,000 minutes of mentorship, is the result of my 2-year experience as a Product Design Mentor at Adplist. I am grateful for being able to contribute to the design community and share my insights and expertise with junior designers.

In my mentorship sessions, I covered the following topics with my mentees:
• How to plan a career and set long-term goals in the design industry
• What resources and design materials to use for their professional development
• How to adopt a human-centric and design-thinking approach
• How to tackle design problems and find unique solutions
• How to work effectively with other team-members as a designer
• How to improve their resume and portfolio for a better chance of getting hired

This experience has improved my skills as a designer, as well as a listener. I have also enhanced my communication and leadership abilities through these sessions, which have benefited me both professionally and personally.

I became a Product Designer at Kian Digital when they were launching their innovative business solution for banking. Kian Digital was a technology branch of Kian Capital, a leader in FinTech and Banking, and our mission was to create a comprehensive solution that could do it all.

We named our business solution Levant, and it had 3 main components:
• Siva, a CRM system that managed customer relationships
• Shiva, a BPA system that automated business processes
• Neshan, a smart KYC and anti-fraud system that verified customers

Levant was designed for Banking and FinTech companies that needed to integrate multiple products for their operations. Our unified solution offered them a unique advantage in meeting their needs.

As a Product Designer, I was in charge of:
• Consulting with financial experts to understand various processes
• Customizing Ant Design System to suit our specific requirements
• Integrating all of the components for a seamless and parallel experience
• Using the latest A.I. techniques to design the most effective liveness-detection in our KYC system
• Optimizing the client-side of the solution for an accessible and user-friendly experience

Freightrate is a global platform for logistics that brings together the key players in the supply chain for a smart and effective sourcing process.

The logistics industry is still largely reliant on manual work and lacks automation and efficient systems. This was our main challenge when designing our product: to help our customers adopt a new and innovative way of using automation and online solutions. To understand our customers' mental model better, we observed how they behaved during their work days. Based on the data we collected, we built our MVP and ran several usability tests to reach our first MLP.

As a Product Designer, my main tasks were:
• Analyzing and improving the daily workflows of our target customers
• Developing a flexible and dynamic design system that could adapt to our rapid changes based on our extensive research and usability test sessions
• Working closely with product manager and developers to align my designs with business goals and user needs
• Studying our competitors and best practices in the logistics industry

As a freelance UX Designer, I had the opportunity to work with different employers from various sectors. Some of the sectors that I worked with are:
• Media and entertainment
• International Logistics
• Banking and FinTech
• Video-games
• Retail and marketplace

This experience gave me a great understanding of the startup ecosystem and how to create products, which shaped my career path as a UX Designer.

Ponisha is a freelancing and crowdsourcing marketplace similar to freelancer.com which connects freelancers with employers in many skill categories.

I started my career journey as a Freelance Graphic Designer in this platform. My projects were including:
• Social media post and banners
• Motion graphics and animations
• Logo and brand Identity design
• Photo and video editing

Working as a freelance designer was a valuable experience that taught me the importance of communication, time management, and collaboration. I learned to work independently and manage my own projects while also collaborating with clients and other designers to deliver high-quality work.
