About Mohamed ElGendy

Senior Java Software Developer at VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions)

Hi, I'm Mohamed, a Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems used by millions of users daily. I specialize in Java microservices, cloud-native architecture, and Al integration in enterprise systems. I'm passionate about solving complex technical challenges, mentoring others, and contributing to open-source projects that bridge the gap between traditional development and the Al-driven future.

I started my career as a full-stack developer, driven by a deep curiosity for how systems work end to end. Over the years, I found my strength in backend engineering-designing robust microservices that power telecom giants like Vodafone Germany and the UK. Along the way, I developed a love for performance tuning, DevOps pipelines, and integrating Al into enterprise workflows.

I can help you with: Building scalable microservices from scratch. Reviewing your backend portfolio Writing maintainable Java Spring Boot code. Migrating legacy systems to modern architectures Backend Al integration using open-source LLMS. Improving CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

“Mohamed was more helpful than expected, he is really putting a lot of effort in guiding to reach the best result. He took more time than was originally scheduled and that is so generous of him even though it might not be the usual case but he seems like the one that could easily do that without second thought as long as he feels like he is helping.”
