• Develop a human-centered design approach to analyze user data and understand our customers experience from discovery, to
 booking, to check-in and check-out.
• Create a content inventory, personas, wireframes, site maps, and user journeys to enhance user analysis.

• Build out a team to support the design function as the company grows our digital platforms and web design needs.

•  Works closely with the project manager, internal team and key members of leadership to lead and develop creative strategies
• Conduct heuristic evaluations, customer journey maps, and competitive analyses to uncover user needs and behaviors
•  Provides clear creative direction and helpful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on budget and on schedule
•  Oversees and develops creative concepts while maintaining graphic consistency across deliverables
•  Prioritizes work and resources to fulfill short- and long-term needs
•  Develop and design visual communications such as marketing materials, presentations, emblems, brochures, advertisements, web product demonstrations, print, web advertisements, and low and high fidelity mockups
•  Oversaw the junior team by supporting and mentoring staff.

•  Collected and analyzed user behaviors and needs through A/B testing for web design
•  Managed and oversaw the creative process from concept to completion
•  Pushed creativity and explored new ways to craft unique solutions that reflected and evolved the brand
•  Created layouts, mockups and prototypes to illustrate design ideas to other members of the team or management
•  Managed and cultivated the career development of staff members, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance

•  Designed and laid out a variety of print and online materials, such as flyers, brochures, marketing boards, direct mail pieces, PowerPoint presentations, event materials and eblasts
•  Provided creative support for conference collateral including invitations, web ads, print ads, backdrop, conference signage, digital screens, and window stickers
•  Prepared and delivered electronic files to printers on deadline
•  Oversaw communication and project status reporting
•  Kept project and digital asset files in accordance with storage and archival protocols
