Creative Director at Mono Alvarado

I obtained my bachelor's degree in designer at the University of Azuay in Cuenca, Ecuador and I have studied post-graduate studies at the Andean University "Simón Bolívar" in Quito, Ecuador and at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

My professional work has been published and awarded in important events, such as the 13th Poster Biennale of Mexico, the 3rd Poster Biennale of Bolivia or the 44 Creativity International Awards in the USA. I have represented Ecuador in the 2nd and 5th Iberoamerican Design Biennial, which cover the whole Latin American continent in each edition.

Over the years I have worked as art director, creative director, creative advertising designer for important national and international clients such as: PEPSICO LATAM, NESCAFÉ ARGENTINA, QUAKER LATAM, LAFARGE CEMENTOS, FRITOLAY ECUADOR, CONFITECA, TAME, OTELLO&FABEL, ALIANZA FRANCESA DE QUITO, MODERNA ALIMENTOS, CORPORACIÓN EKOS, INGESA, DESTILERÍA ZHUMIR, PROMPERÚ, UNACEM ECUADOR, SEDEMI, ALCALÁ FILMS QATAR, among others.

At the end of 2016, I became an Art Director at VAG, a renowned packaging and design agency in Buenos Aires until the end of 2017. Currently, I continue to collaborate with them on several mass consumption projects in Latin America. At the moment I live in Quito where I combine my professional design and consulting services with university teaching.
