I am the head of design at Kaggle, a ML/AI startup acquired by Google in 2017. I've worked as a designer for 9 years (5 years as a manager) after transitioning into the field from genetics. I have worked across companies of many sizes and shapes and I'm happy to talk about how to get your foot in the door at a company that will be a good fit for you. I'm passionate about emerging technologies, data science, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, paleontology, citizen science, game design, crowdfunding, and entrepreneurship.
