I mentor those new or transitioning to the field of UX design and product design. I can help in two ways.
First, I transform portfolios. A strong, unique and interest-piquing portfolio is key to standing out amongst the sea of junior designer portfolios out there. I support junior designers to develop their personal branding, shape their case studies, and overall help them to find their voice and identity as a designer. I'm excited to help you develop your confidence and find your feet.
Second, I advise on the job-hunting process itself. I share my experiences with writing UX and product design job applications. I advise on best practices, and can help mentees understand what current job interviewers are looking for, and what can be expected in a UX design job interview process. Crucially, I help them pinpoint what aspects of their applications can be developed to make sure they shine. I also provide tips on managing job applications on the whole.
