Senior Director of Design, Card Platforms & Data at Capital One
I’m a senior design leader with 15+ years of experience building and scaling design teams across technology, fintech, and enterprise data platforms. I've most recently served as Senior Director of Design for U.S. Card Platforms & Data at Capital One, where I led AI and machine-learning-driven product design impacting 100 million+ customers. I've partnered closely with cross-functional executive leaders to embed human-centered design into complex, regulated systems to drive measurable business outcomes. Previously, I led Data Management and Explainability Design teams at Meta, shaping global standards for data transparency and trust for 3.5 billion+ customers. Earlier in my career, I worked in agency environments (Accenture, FJORD) leading 0-to-1 design initiatives for Fortune 500 and public-sector organizations.
Over the last decade I've mentored 100+ individuals, short and long-term, with Hexagon UX, Design for America, NYU Makerspace, Parsons School of Design, the Global Service Design Jam, on my own, and as a part of my role as a Manager of Design through Senior Director of Design. I help designers and leaders move from execution to influence—supporting them (and their teams) in navigating ambiguity, growing confidence, and scaling their impact without burning out.
