Experienced T-shaped test engineer who continuously searches for challenges.
My role is split between three areas. First is to make sure my squad has all quality tools, process, knowledge and support they need to deliver great quality software. Second is to lead technical initiatives within tech and test engineering community to improve quality, to optimised delivery and measure impact. Third one is mentoring people, helping to grow their technical knowledge and confidence.

Achievements:
- Established the new continuous testing process to help team remove the bottleneck with testing
- Increased the test coverage of natives apps that helped teams to move to weekly releases
- Integrated tests into continuous deployments tools
- Successfully delivered quarterly epics for technical improvements and product delivery
- Designed and set up post release monitoring for complex projects
- Developed the learning program for Test Engineers to become confident and independent contributors to native automation
- Identified the inefficiency in regression testing, developed optimised process and implementing it
- Facilitating brainstorming, implementation sessions either with technical or cross functional teams

During this time, I mainly worked on a separate project dedicated to financial well-being. It was a fully native experience.

Achievements:
- I set up strategy of quality and delivery. The strategy was simple - test and automate while developing the feature. Automation is part of delivery. Automation is freedom deliver fast.
- I set up automation from scratch and onboarded the whole team
- I mentored the team to adopt a mindset of "quality at the beginning" and were able to release the native app weekly. It was successful project and definitely one of my favourite.

Technology:
- Swift, XCTest, Bitrise, Jenkins
- Javascript, Typescript (API testing), Cypress
- Gatling peformance testing(Scala)

Currently working on web platform fostering quality and continuous delivery and help classified business to move forward offering quality product to end users.

My role is to bring user stories from planning into production by designing meaningful tests, developing them and maintaining existing automated regression pack at the same time.
I never say ‘no’ to exploratory testing which helps to discover and learn more about platform.

To build a resilient and scalable testing framework I am using simple and easy ScalaTest to write API and end2end tests alongside with Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins for nightly test runs and Selenium Grid for tests parallelization. Maven or sbt tools to build our projects. Less often I would write tests using Java as applications are a mix of technologies - Java and Scala.

The other part of my role is improvements and initiatives. Co-organizer of Gumtree Tech talks
