About Ndagi Stanley

Software Engineer | Technical Writer at _ (Please refer to LinkedIN for details)

Hello šŸ‘‹, I am Stanley, a Software engineering and Digital products professional.

I'm on a journey of invoking the builder within me and serving. I do full-stack software engineering, build products, share knowledge and break barriers of entry (real or imagined).

I have had stints as a Technical team lead, Product Manager, and much recently, a Technical Writer.

Programming languages I'm comfortable in, are primarily Python and JavaScript. I also have DevOps experience. Besides programming, I seek out non-technical solutions in addition to technical ones, striving to reuse and repurpose code, not reinvent the wheel.

I love breaking barriers of entry in the tech space through:

writing, including technical documentation, using the Docs-as-Code approach. I deploy and maintain publishing platforms too. offering mentorship in the areas I have gained experience in public speaking engaging in communities like TechKln and participating in community programs: I'm a GitHub star and a CircleCI champion creating, contributing, maintaining and using open-source software (OSS) projects. View my open-source contributions on GitHub. I maintain the following projects on GitHub: NdagiStanley/Vue-Django and NdagiStanley/VueDN.

I also like tinkering with and improving the tools I use.

What mentees say

ā€œI’m repeatedly impressed by the desire to impact and inspire young professionals. Understands his craft well and the articulation is impeccable as well. Our sessions always seem like a one stop shop :).ā€

Austin Odhiambo, Student at Moringa

ā€œThe session was incredibly insightful, packed with valuable nuggets of information. I found myself wishing for more time as we delved into his approach to content. His answers were not only interesting but also on point. A major takeaway for me was the notion that, as a designer, one should always be in ABCE (Always Be Content Editing) mode.ā€

Tiffany Kisiero, UI UX Designer at KROM Systems

ā€œStanley is a great mentor. Reaching out to him as a mentee was the best decision I made in ADPList. He is a great communicator and technical advisor who leads with precision and great understanding. I highly vouch for him for a great mentorship in the technical field.ā€

Stephanie Beatrice, Student at Moi University
