I'm recovering web and product designer who tripped the field in the late 90s.
Now I do all I can to avoid moving pixels, instead focusing on trying to move people… their actions and their intentions, allowing them joyfully embrace new mindsets and technologies. This has played out in many ways at the companies where I've led (IBM, Facebook, InVision, agencies of all sizes, and more) where you can find me convincing stakeholders to stop making company wide destructive decisions, or where I run Design Thinking workshops where participants go from “why the hell are we here?” to “why haven’t we been working like this for years”, or speaking at conferences/podcasts about where the future of Design is going with Design Systems.
While I've managed many teams, these days he’s found he can have a bigger impact on people with his coaching company Creative Liberation where I've helped many creatives find their professional paths.
