Hi, I’m Nima, a software engineer based in Vienna.

My background is mainly in backend engineering, distributed systems, and integrations, working mostly with TypeScript, Go, and Python. I’m especially interested in system design, reliability, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and open source.

For me, engineering is not only about technology. A big part of the job is learning how to break down unclear problems, make decisions with incomplete information, communicate ideas, learn from mistakes, and keep moving when you don’t know the answer yet.

I’ve also faced many of the questions that come with building a career in tech: what to learn next, which path to choose, how to deal with complex problems, how to grow as an engineer, and where you want to go long term.

Outside of work, I enjoy contributing to open source, experimenting with new technologies, and learning by building.

I’m happy to connect with students, developers, career switchers, and fellow engineers. We can talk about engineering, system design, open source, career growth, learning, problem-solving, navigating the industry, or simply a challenge you’re working through.

You don’t need a perfectly defined question. Sometimes talking through the problem together is the best place to start.
