About Nuria Quero
Designer at Freelance
Designer working in creative technology. In the last few years I've juggled a few job titles: UX, XR, Visual Designer... and I've never felt quite confident with any of them. So just designer will do.
In my work, I combined my experience in UX and interaction design with the use of 2D & 3D, within the creative technology sector. This range of skills allows me to focus not only on creating a beautiful face for the product, but to concentrate on the user, delivering compelling experiences, whether that be for web, mobile, VR, AR or experiential.
At the same time, I've always felt that I can give back to the community of designers by talking to others. When I was starting, I felt really lonely and very far way from other designers/mentors who were already Seniors. I feel I can be that person, who is just a few steps ahead from someone who is starting. I am someone who is still figuring out as I go, that I'm still learning everyday, and hoping I can help others.
In the last few years, I've given classes at university, created educational content for design schools, and mentored fellow designers in a 1:1 basis. And I hope I can continue to do this for as long as I'm a designer.
