Contributed to developing the go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition and retention campaigns for the company’s talent marketplace, helping hundreds of tech professionals secure global freelancing gigs with multinational companies like Safaricom, Google, and Amazon AWS  through the Gebeya Talent mobile application.

Collaborated with the product team to enhance the Gebeya mobile app, managed app store support tickets, and led the acquisition, onboarding and management of over 5,000 registered talents.

Oversaw a community of 2500 talents, launched the "Updates From Gebeya" newsletter, and contributed to the job board feature.

My efforts significantly expanded the reach of Gebeya's talent pool and key partnerships with Amazon AWS, Google, and Microsoft and Gebeya's disclosed seed funding round in early 2023.

Managed the launch of the Gebeya talent-focused newsletter, accomplishing notable metrics such as a 75.6% open rate and 80% click-through rate (CTR).

In my role as a digital marketing consultant, I  

 Helped talents prepare for the best freelancing, onsite and remote job experiences by reviewing and optimising talents' profiles to be as competitive as possible.

I led the mobile and SMS marketing customer acquisition campaign for Safeboda, a consumer services app that offers ride-hailing and mobile money services. This campaign significantly acquired and onboarded over 70,000 customers and had a 70% retention rate.

I grew the radio program Ibani Hour's digital presence by 1338%, transforming it into a cultural phenomenon using innovative digital and tech marketing tools. This drove youth engagement and contributed 20% of the program's 8 million listenership.

Increased customer acquisition for  Mobile and SMS marketing web applications by 650% through effective product management strategies.

I implemented data-driven strategies for Hymnodia, Africa's first hymn-themed reality TV show,  that resulted in a 2000% increase in social engagement on Facebook and Instagram, reaching eight million people. I also optimised the show’s digital presence, attracting close to a quarter of a million views, unlocking monetisation and elevating the brand globally.

Implemented innovative mobile and SMS marketing campaigns to drive our customer acquisition campaigns for SafeBoda, a Google-backed consumer services app that offers ride-hailing and mobile money services in Uganda, Nairobi and Nigeria. This reached Safeboda's offline target customers, contributing significantly to the acquisition of over 70,000 customers and a 70% retention rate.

Managed the team that ideated and designed the Pinkberry website in Nigeria, significantly boosting brand awareness and online presence among our target audience in Africa’s largest economy. 

Oversaw the tech and digital marketing campaigns for Domino Pizza to generate leads through gamification, by implementing the campaigns,  increased generation by 1500%, resulting in higher website traffic, enhanced user engagement by 3000%, and increased revenue. 

Managed the development of the Facebook Canvas App project, focusing on User Interface design and creating engaging Facebook games. This effort led to a 500% rise in user interaction and strengthened brand loyalty. 

Supervised a team of designers, developers, and content creators working on projects for apps, gamification strategies, and websites across different client accounts, such as startups, small businesses,  Pinkberry, Dominos, and Coldstone. To ensure project outcomes, I prioritised communication with clients, effective management of timelines and budgets, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.

​I managed high budget PR, digital media campaigns and advocacy projects funded by Google, Microsoft, Rockefeller Foundation, Web Foundation, and Internews among others. and improved the organization's online and offline communication.

I managed the online implementation of the Rockefeller Foundation-funded $500,000 Digital Jobs Project in Nigeria which reached over 18 million people online with 4000+  sign-ups and 500+ youths trained in various digital skills. 

I led and managed advocacy campaigns and programs such as Women's Rights Online campaign in partnership with Web Foundation, Anti-social media Bill, Cybercrime Act, the Digital Rights and Freedom Bill, Microsoft NGO connection Day, Microsoft Tech4Good Day, Google Safer Internet  Day etc.

I grew Paradigm Initiative Nigeria’s social media assets. (Facebook 1350%+; Twitter 450%; Instagram 2000%) and managed online communications/social media channels including daily operations, creation, design, and policy/technical support.

I trained 350 non-profit organizations on the use of social media for advocacy and 160 youths on social media for business.

As Acting Chief Operating Officer, I managed the organization’s daily administrative operations, led stakeholder engagements, planned and executed the 2013 annual staff retreat and represented the Executive Director at Various meetings and events. 

I also led the planning and execution of Paradigm Initiative's annual students’  conference, Techie Entrepreneurial, Nigerian and Talented (TENT) in collaboration with the Lagos State Government. The event had 250+ students from 25 tertiary institutions in attendance, and speakers like Prof Pat Utomi, Mario Valle Reyes, Simdul Shagaya, Tomi Davies, Adebola Williams, Osayi Alile Oruene, Victor Asemota,  Emeka Okoye, Oreoluwa Lesi etc.

I led the planning and execution of the main editions of Paradigm Initiative’s Internet Policy Training and Internet Freedom Forum (now Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum) which had participants from digital rights organisations, civil soceity organisations and government parastals across Africa, Europe and America.

I managed the $400,000  Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK) funded Tobacco Control Nigeria ( a public health and policy change campaign) and managed eight organizations that remotely delivered content creation, advocacy, tech and other value-added services. 

I geometrically grew social media accounts (Twitter: 2000%  & Facebook 4000%)  with a cumulative  3.5+ million reach and 27 million impressions within a year using digital marketing strategies, content marketing, hashtag campaigns, social media and Google paid advertising. 

I raised active online citizens (cause champions) who contributed their voices to the advocacy campaigns by signing online petitions and actively engaging their parliamentary representatives to support the passage of the National Tobacco Control Bill (NTCB) into law. 

I created multiple ideas for user generated content through giveaways, viral marketing, gamification including a dance competition, signage supports, online ambassadorship, flash-mob dance campaign etc. 

The success of the campaign contribution to the passage of the anti-smoking bill in Lagos state and the National Tobacco Control Bill (NTCB) in Nigeria by the Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola, SAN and Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan in 2014 and 2015 respectively

I developed social media,  content marketing, Public Relations and album release strategies for international music stars: MI  Abaga,  Waje, Davido, DJ Caise, Classique etc. and managed their social media accounts. 

Wrote entertainment articles and blog posts for the organization’s entertainment blog 

I was responsible for developing the social media release and giveaway for MI Abaga’s Chairman single and album launch #ChairmanGiveaway  and also contributed to the first-ever Google hangout to hold in Nigeria 

I managed CakesByTosan Facebook and Twitter pages and grew following by 25% and 15% respectively within a 2-month period. 

Developed social media strategy and managed communication for Wildflower PR on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus from January to May 2013.
