The Role: 
The role centres on overseeing the management and expansion of Microsoft’s gaming subscriptions business, as well as boosting transactional product sales across MEA and CEE by managing P&L whilst overseeing product lifecycle.  Accountability lies with me to direct delivery of initiatives to evangelize gaming, movie and music services, offers and marketplace content to consumers.  Related to this, I enrich the gaming ecosystem by collaborating with regional gaming developers to ensure inclusion of their content on the Xbox platform. 

The Results:
• Pioneered a transformative sales approach by introducing marketing and promotions initiatives to evolve products, resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction; increased profitability and 54% sales growth; and streamlined distribution channels 
• Directed a geo-expansion project that shaped and executed GTM strategies for gaming subscriptions across 29 countries, and positioned the brand as a key player in new countries in the global gaming market
• Increased customer exposure to services and value-added solutions for subscribers by forming marketing alliances with third-party app providers, and joint venture partnerships within the telecoms industry
• Exceeded digital revenue targets and realised 44% year-on-year growth by identifying and capitalising on new market opportunities; creating GTM strategies, collaborations with global brands, and awareness campaigns with influencers; and formulating a multi-year channel growth plan for Xbox Game Pass, Gift cards and cloud gaming scenarios

The Role:
In this capacity, I directed the end-to-end management of product lifecycles, including launching new products; determining product mix; and conducting forecasting and channel demand planning.  Separately, I co-ordinated retail sales, channel marketing and communication teams to adapt world-wide Xbox strategy to country-specific requirements.  

The Results:
• Played a key role in positioning Russia as the most profitable country in the sub-region, and achieved annual sales growth of 35% by strengthening focus on customer satisfaction and market competitiveness; defining and implementing GTM plans, sales strategy; and overseeing P&L and business planning across the entire Xbox product ecosystem, comprising consoles, accessories, games, and services
• Introduced measures to optimise cost structures, operational efficiency and revenue generation 
• Managed channel inventory to enhance partner profitability through product availability 
• Oversaw the launch of new console generations in targeted markets, and devised bespoke GTM strategies that gained new multi-million-dollar revenue streams 
• Led efforts to enhance profitability and align business strategies with growth objectives, resulting in significant improvements in the country's financial performance

The Role:
A key focus of this role was to establish and execute account plans to accelerate year-on-year account growth, which I did by promoting product desirability and ensuring product availability. An important part of this was to align distributors’ business objectives and those of Microsoft, as well as managing regional distributors to maximise contribution margins, and I very much enjoyed being able to forge long-term relationships with partners such as Mail.ru, VK and Yandex. 

The Results:
• Expanded company reach and revenue streams, and increased customer acquisition by penetrating a range of distribution channels, resulting in increased customer acquisition
• Directed the launch of electronic sales distribution, which almost doubled overall annual channel sales 
• Led the identification and creation of new sales channels, including partnerships with telecommunications providers, device-as-a-service models, social media sales initiatives, and code-to-content (C2C) sales strategies
