Hiya! I'm a senior product designer at DoorDash. I've been practicing product design since 2018 (and graphic design/illustration since 2013), and have enjoyed being a mentor for a few years now.
I love building relationships with early-career designers because I remember how overwhelmed I felt in during internships and my first full-time job. I've got plenty to learn myself, but I hope that my perspective and experience can be helpful to folks who are just starting out.
My general approach to mentorship is to first and foremost be a great listener and make people feel seen, and to provide advice/feedback only when it is asked for.
