Managing engineering managers and staff engineers across multiple Logistics spaces (Supply Chain and Dark Store), each of which contain multiple cross-functional teams. Essentially my teams are responsible the entire journey from supplier and category management with MDM and EDI to inbounding, receiving, waste management, right up to the picking of customer orders.

I am also the Functional Lead for Backend@Gorillas, which includes creating documentation and standards, as well as setting hiring targets, and creating and running the hiring pipelines. This has given me the opportunity to continue to be hands-on when evaluating new technologies or approaches, such as feature flags or integrations with new partners.

Leading a cross-functional team delivering end-to-end, including defining roadmaps, performing plannings in coordination with product, and working with mobile, frontend, and backend engineers to deliver features, improvements, and refactorings.

Managing engineering managers and teams in the internal company space. The teams were responsible for Matching (which included ML), DevOps (plus the development and maintenance of the datalake and connectors to enable BI), as well as the Internal Tooling team developing productivity multipliers and guiding engineering within the company.

Responsibilities included defining roadmaps and handling stakeholder requests, as well as Backend Engineer hiring across the company

Backend engineer working on both a monolith (Groovy + Grails) as well as micro-services (Java + Spring).
Worked on both internal facing as well as on B2C teams

I worked in the cloud-at-customer infrastructure team both writing new distributed feature services with large customer impact, as well as writing service wrappers to interact with existing infrastructure services such as NTP
