Brainly is the biggest online learning community in the world. 350 million active users monthly, users from 35 countries, 12 language versions. Our motto: No one knows everything, but everyone knows something. With Brainly, students combine their strengths and talents to tackle problems together.

• Managed the team of managers, leads, designers, and engineers (10+), additionally being responsible for all designers across the company (30+)

• Successfully guided the development of a strategic redesign, working directly with the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

• Guided teams through deep organizational and company-wide changes in strategy, structure, and culture.

Elementarz UX is one of the best UX conferences in Poland. This event organized by Element Talks and The Awwwesomes is an interactive experience loved by attendees and speakers. I had a chance to be a mentor in areas of Design Systems, UI, Visual Design, DesignOps, Design Leadership, Design Culture, building a career path, recruitment, and more

• Lectured and mentored 23 students on product design-related topics like UI Design, Design Systems, product-brand connection, and working in Tech

• Lectured and mentored over 100 students on product design-related topics like UI Design, Design Systems, product-brand connection, working in Tech

• Formed and managed a Design System Team of 5 exceptional designers

• After company-wide reorg led the Interaction/Product Design domain at Brainly, managing the core Design System team with a focus on product design quality and community building. Provided guidance to distributed teams, hired, leveled, and mentored 10+ Interaction/Product Design for excellence and a seamless user experience across different products.

• Identified the opportunity to enhance CWV metrics ahead of the Google Page Experience algorithm change. Convinced CPO & CTO to hire a dedicated Engineer to tackle this, alongside design tooling and accessibility improvements. Additionally, secured buy-in for implementing motion design, positioning us as a leader in industry standards.

• Pioneering Design Ops. Optimized processes, enhancing efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In charge of the transition from Sketch to Figma from research to signing the contract with Figma on behalf of Brainly, and orchestration of the migration for 10+ product teams. 

• Won the 2019 Annual Brainly Impact Award through company-wide employee voting.

• Proactivity & Research: Conducted inquiries to assess gaps in collaboration among designers and devs, with missing shared language as a key insight.

• Influence: Secured stakeholder buy-in for the Design System budget.

• Problem-solving & Strategy: Pioneered the Brainly Design System "Pencil" in collaboration with Software Engineers. Created its strategy, vision, mission, and branding, and helped created our DS tooling - HTML-Sketchapp, that was later used by teams around the world. 

• Craft: Ensured design language cohesiveness and proposed cross-team iterative improvements. Led collaborative creation of Brainly Design Principles.

• Led the redesign of Onet.pl main page - top visited website in Poland (Featured in Behance Main Page).
• Fostered creativity, challenged the status quo, and explored innovative problem-solving approaches.
• Co-designed services and apps like Onet verticals, Plejada, Top Model, X-Factor, Fakt, Sympatia, Sport (Featured in Behance UI/UX Category). 
• Co-designed 0-1 services like VuMag and Noizz.
• Enhanced platform for a trustworthy and delightful user experience.
• Created mock-ups and user flows for desktop and mobile applications.
• Design multiple marketing campaigns.
• Collaborated with business owners, developers, and fellow designers to brainstorm and arrive at optimal solutions.
