About Paul Lim

Product Design Manager at Intuit

I'm currently Intuit as a Product Design Manager, and previously at Netflix as a Prinicipal Product Designer. Prior to Netflix, I was a Product Design Manager/Team Lead at TikTok. Prior to TikTok, I was a Design Lead at Walmart focused on online groceries, Director of UX for virtual reality, and as a UX Designer at Disney, Symantec, and gaming companies.

I'm passionate about designing for good, accessibility, diversity, and inclusion, and I'm a mentor as well as a mentee. Areas that I've worked in are AI, VR/AR, Enterprise, Social Media, E-Commerce, Developer Tools, and Gaming.

My mentorship includes portfolio reviews, interview prepping, career guidance, and elevating your craft.

My mentorship does NOT include how to get into certain companies or instant referrals.

I am here to support, guide, and explore with you in understanding how you would want to grow, and help you navigate through challenges.

What mentees say

β€œMy session with Paul was nothing short of transformative. From the moment we began our conversation, I was struck by his encouraging demeanor. Rather than focusing on just the technicalities, Paul offered a refreshing perspective on how to present oneself in interviews, urging me to embrace my unique journey and experiences!”

Sara Hua, UIUX Designer at Xbox

β€œI had a great chat with Paul about accessibility and ways to level up as a junior designer. Paul was very honest and open. He treated the conversation like a two-way street with a desire to learn from me as much as I was learning from him. I appreciate this learning mindset!”

Wren Lee, Product designer at Genesys

β€œIt was a precious conversation with Paul today. I learned a lot of things in a short time. Now I knew how to face an interview as a junior designer and what would be essential attributes in daily work as a junior designer. In addition, I got highly insightful and informative advice on presenting my project during the interview. Paul's advice will definitely help in my future job hunting.”
