About Paul Wright

Product Design Manager at GitLab

Hi, I'm Paul and I have over 15 years experience in the web industry, first as a front-end developer, then as an information architect and user experience designer, plus 8 years as a product designer and 3 years as a manager, design leader and mentor.

I have run my own design business, have start-up experience, agency experience and Enterprise SaaS experience at Stack Overflow and GitLab. I have a strong understanding of information architecture, user experience, product design and development mixed with experience in usability research and product management.

As you can see I am a generalist and can help you with career transitions, working cross-department including translating design to product and engineering, how to think more strategically with your design work and how to make sure your designs not only look good but also have a strong, user experience foundation.
