Hi, I'm Pavel Zavitnevich, a Senior Product Analyst at Playrix, ex-Yandex Go.

My current work is all about mobile games - Playrix is the studio behind Homescapes, Township and Gardenscapes. Day to day I work on the economy of in-game events: funnels, reward structures, and the modelling that happens before anything ships to millions of weekly players, with about five experiments running in parallel. Much of the job is turning a loose request into something you can actually run.

At Yandex Go I grew from junior analyst to team lead and ran a team of five, where most of my week went to other people's problems rather than my own: reviewing their analyses, arguing about what a result actually showed. Earlier, during university, I used to teach economics to high-school students.
