Integral member of executive team, advised on strategy, hardware and portfolio planning leading to 1st 1 million users.  Successfully launched the company’s first hardware products: Audio interfaces, Pedal boards for Mono brand (insights & research driven) AMP’s for revoked brand Harmony.

Lead designer of a global task chair (‘Series 1’), during 5 month assignment at the headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI / US.
Delivered main concept within 5 months (1 designer, 25 engineers), establishing concept design and completing majority of engineering work

Gibson Brands acquired the Business Group Lifestyle Entertainment from Philips in 2013.

Lead designer for multiple categories (HiFi, headphones, ‘appcessories’, portable Speakers). Drove cross-functional project teams (Marketing, Mechanical- and Acoustic Engineering) through concept- and co-design. 
Close collaboration with external supplier networks from sketch to final manufacturing ready product.
Won 10x design awards across categories.

Designed the 1st products of the ‘appcessory’ category for the Philips brand. 
Drove project teams with a ‘led by design’ approach through development phases of new product archetypes. Launched 3x different ‘appcessory’ products as category starter and won 2x design awards. 

Established UX guidelines in new ‘appcessory’ category as new evolved scopes in functionality required new thinking and simplification.

Designed Hi-Fi components, specifically subwoofers. Created works-like models and volume studies. Refined details and drove project from development to manufacturing. 

Supported in-house Industrial Design team on concept work for new TV & audio generation and ideation for next-gen archetypes of floor standing media devices.

Designed a wide range of glassware items for a taiwanese glass manufacturer.

Experimented and pushed with glass manufacturing techniques to create elaborate limited edition items. 

Designed kitchen interior for Italian kitchen manufacturer. Explored elements for a unique design language including color themes and detail solutions for the later created final product.

Developed next generation range of kitchen appliances for German high end brands.  Executed on brand guidelines & identity on how to evolve to 2-3 generations into the future. 

Created a coherent UX design language across archetypes of appliances. 

Designed interior of train cars for high speed trains and underground metros for Asian and South American markets.
